1-2 DAY WORKSHOPS

In Person and Online Workshops

Our workshops offer real-world professional development so you can feel ready and confident to put theory into practice straight away.

PERINATAL & INFANT MENTAL HEALTH

Full Circle Program

Foundational perinatal and infant mental health training for clinicians.

An 8-week online program designed to build confidence, clarity, and practical skills in perinatal mental health.

Why Full Circle?

Perinatal work is complex.

Clients may present with anxiety, depression, trauma histories, birth-related distress, identity shifts, relational strain, attachment concerns and risk - often all at once.

Many clinicians understand the theory of perinatal mental health. Applying it confidently in practice can feel much harder.

Full Circle was created to bridge that gap.

This program offers a structured, supportive space to deepen your understanding of perinatal mental health and strengthen your confidence in real-world clinical situations.

Who is this for?

Full Circle is designed for:

  • Psychologists

  • Social workers

  • Counsellors

  • Mental health clinicians

  • Allied health professionals

Particularly those who:

  • Are new to perinatal work

  • Want a strong foundational framework

  • See perinatal clients but want greater confidence

  • Are considering more intensive specialist training in the future

You do not need to be a perinatal specialist to benefit.
You do need curiosity, openness, and a commitment to thoughtful practice.

What makes Full Circle different?

This is not a one-off workshop or a theory-heavy lecture series.

Full Circle is:

✔ Structured over 8 weeks to allow integration and reflection
✔ Focused on real clinical application
✔ Grounded in evidence-informed practice
✔ Relational and reflective in approach
✔ Designed by clinicians, for clinicians

Each session builds on the last, supporting you to think more deeply, not just learn more content.

What you’ll gain

By the end of Full Circle, you can expect to:

  • Feel more confident holding perinatal complexity

  • Have clearer frameworks for assessment, formulation and treatment

  • Better understand the emotional and relational shifts of the perinatal period

  • Integrate theory with practical therapeutic application

  • Feel less alone in this area of practice

This program lays the groundwork for clinicians who wish to deepen their perinatal skill set over time.

Our approach

Full Circle reflects the values of Seeds of Sunshine and POP Psychology:

  • Compassionate, ethical practice

  • Respect for diversity and lived experience

  • Reflection over rigid technique

  • Confidence through understanding, not quick fixes

We believe clinicians grow best in environments that are supportive, thoughtful and connected.

Is this the right level for me?

Full Circle is an introductory-to-foundational program.

If you are looking for:

  • A solid grounding before more intensive perinatal training

  • Greater clarity and confidence in this client group

  • A stepping stone toward specialist development

Then this program is likely a strong fit.
